With the high magnitude of summer tours and festivals headed our way in the next few months, what's wrong with a little more variety? That's what Chiodos and Blessthefall hope to bring with their newly announced tour.

Entitled The Crowd Surf America Tour, the U.S. trek features Davison, Michigan post-hardcore act Chiodos and Phoenix, Arizona screamo act Blesstthefall taking co-headlining duties. Rounding out the tour are Australian metalcore acts I Killed The Prom Queen and Capture The Crown. The trek kicks off on July 25th at the Diamond Ballroom in Oklahoma City, OK and ends on August 30th at The Blue Note in Columbia, MO. The tour will make a stop at Starland Ballroom on August 17th.

Pre-sale tickets for the tour are on sale right now. The VIP package features an intimate acoustic performance, meet and greet, and photo op with Chiodos. Other goodies included are a limited edition flexi disc, a 11x17 signed tour poster, and a souvenir laminate with an accompanying lanyard. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday.

Chiodos have been riding high since the release of their fourth studio album Devil last month on Razor & Tie. This is the first album recorded with original vocalist Craig Owens since his departure from the band in back in 2009. The album debuted at number 12 on the Billboard Top 200 with over 18,000 copies sold.

Blessthefall released their latest album Hollow Bones last August through Fearless Records. That album debuted at number 15 on the Billboard Top 200 with a little over 21,000 copies sold. I Killed The Prom Queen released their latest album Beloved back in February via Epitaph Records. This is their first album since reuniting back in 2011. Capture The Crown will release the follow up to their 2012 debut album 'Til Death this year via Artery Recordings.
