While U.S. State Department officials, Congressman, governors, CEOs and American presidents continue to give VIP treatment to Chinese government officials, the cries for help continue from Tibetans who are feeling more oppressed daily under Communist Chinese authoritarian rule. If anybody doubts how brutal the Chinese military and police may be, a new video which has been leaked by Phayul.com on Dec. 13, 2013, showing China's torture on its military recruits, has confirmed this brutality.
The video, which is graphic and should only be watched with viewer discretion, shows senior People's Armed Police officers of China beating five young recruits in the city of Wuhai in Inner Mongolia. This video has gone viral and has lead to a huge outcry from internet users even in China. The Tibetan Centre for Human Rights claims some members of the People’s Armed Police have experienced nightmares as the result of
subjecting Tibetans to similar torture.
It is said during pre-sentencing detention, in prison, and in PRC’s extrajudicial detention centers, Tibetans are routinely beaten with fists, sticks, and belts. They are also hit with chairs and electric batons. In the leaked Phayul.com video bare chested People's Armed Police officers are seen beating up junior officers by slapping, punching and kicking them like they are punching bags. A comment of Weibo, the PRC’s twitter service, said, “If you treat your own comrades like that, how do you treat others?”
