Young Disney diva China Ann McClain is about to take on the roles of three iconic African-American female singers when her show A.N.T Farm salutes Black History Month.
China Ann is an Atlanta native who shot to fame as Jasmine Payne on Tyler Perry's House of Payne before being known as the youngest in a trio of singing sisters.
Now, as Chyna Parks on hit Disney show A.N.T Farm, she will no doubt be in the running for a youth award for her portrayal of Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin and Janet Jackson in a single episode set to debut at 8 p.m. on February 1, 2013 on the Disney Channel.
In addition to acting as the three women whose mark on music is legendary, China Ann will also be singing as Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin and Janet Jackson in their respected genres from each era.
