A chilly flow of air across the region this morning will support a few rain or snow showers. High pressure will build across the area this afternoon ending the threat of precipitation and causing the clouds to clear. It will be a cool day with temperatures rising to around 50 degrees this afternoon.
It will be clear and chilly tonight, then sunny and warmer on Thursday as high pressure slides across the region.
The high will move to our east Thursday night as a cold front approaches from the west. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will break out after midnight Thursday night, then continue through Friday as the front moves across the area. It will become windy on Friday as well with gusts in excess of 40 mph possible.
