Chill obtains exclusive rights for Doug Benson comedy documentary

Chill (www.chill.com), the web’s premier video distribution platform for creator owned entertainment content distributed direct from artists, comedians and filmmakers today announced that they have acquired exclusive video on demand streaming rights for the comedy documentary The Greatest Movie Ever Rolled, starring comedian Doug Benson (Super High Me, The Benson Interruption, Doug Loves Movies podcast). Benson chose to release his comedy doc online first, a move similar to what Louis C.K. and Aziz Ansari did, to sell directly to fans and include “bundles” that come with fan merchandise, t-shirts and other goods, along with the documentary.

Building on the success of content creators who have made specials directly available to audiences for personal download, Chill has expanded on this model, developing a global state of the art platform allowing artists and filmmakers like Doug Benson, to engage their fan bases and build customizable community hubs where fans and artists can interact.
