Thursday, Johnson & Johnson voluntarily recalled their infants' and childrens' liquid Tylenol because of possible bacterial contamination.
The company is implementing this recall because an unused portion of one inactive ingredient did not meet all quality standards. The company said that no bacteria has been found in the products and that the chances of a medical event is remote.
Johnson & Johnson decided to do the recall after talking with the Food and Drug Administration.
The products were made between April, 2008 and June, 2008 and were several different varieties, such as Children's Tylenol Suspension 4 oz. Grape flavor, and Children's Tylenol Plus Cold/Allergy 4 oz. Bubble gum flavor.
Questions can be answered by calling 1-800-962-5357. You can see a list of the recalled products by going to Tylenol's web site.
