Get out of Wilkesboro and explore the Childrens Museum of Winston Salem. Check out Brain Power Day on March 17 or explore Art Studio on March 2. Check out the diverse events and tailor it around your homeschoolers interests. Its a great place and resource to homeschool in the region. You might want to explore their Star Wars Day on April 21.

Kids can meet Cat in the Hat if you plan a trip for March 9. Kids can also hear Dr. Seuss stories. You will always find an out of the box learning experience in the Childrens Museum. Then you can go back and explore more topics at the Wilkes Public Library. You can use these experiences to build on your homeschoolers journey in 2013.
