The rising number of case studies show that children who are ADHD benefit tremendously from the continuous effort of putting more positive interventions in place, whether in his or her schools, home, or other related activities throughout their communities. In the findings, it is concluded that children with ADHD who are motivated and constantly encouraged by others who acquire such empathetic skills can aid in the decreasing number of children who are challenged with the illness displaying low self-esteem and having little confidence in themselves.
Years ago, the only rules and instructions that were permissible for children who were diagnosed with ADHD was those disciplines of provoking children with the illness to somewhat callous behaviors, which would often lead children with ADHD or other such diseases into an isolated mode. In this case, parents, teachers, or other affiliated sources that of a religious factor or outside community activity could not seem to find ways to prevent negative interventions. Today there are positive interventions for children with ADHD that can very well affect how children with this illness learn, grow, and develop maturely and carry out productive lives in his or her homes, schools, and become potential leaders in their communities.

Many children with ADHD are gifted with special abilities. Moreover, if given a chance to stimulate his or her mind with more positive reinforced interventions can in many ways help children with ADHD meet their maturity stages. Also, by shifting the old techniques to a newer way of implementing the positive aspects can and will make life more easier for children who suffer countless with the disease.

Good Article...thanks for sharing.....
This is a wonderful article. Children with ADHD and other disabilities should be given the proper treatment, accomodations and modifications that are needed for them to succeed in their environment. I go into classrooms each day and I am very proud of how some teachers are turning away from the old way of helping these children that do have a disability. They are changing their teaching strategies and also offering other help as well. I belive that it is very important for parents, teachers, specialists, and etc., to improve their skills and abilities so that these children will have a chance at living a almost normal life. Yes, their are some ADHD children that are gifted and talented in many ways. But, we will never know unless we "think outside the box" and get these children what we think they need, but what they need. Very good article!
I meant not what we think they need, but what they do need. :-)
Great article here! All too often kids with disabilities are left to struggle behind kids who don't have disabilities. My 19 year old Godchild has a speech therapist.. even though she has never spoken... we are still hoping one day she will say something to us.
This article was very touching to my heart! I'm one of the kids from the 1960's that has ADHD but never knew? Now I am older and wiser. Angela I'm thankful for your attention and how its helping the younger generation today, as I know the children are gifted with special abilities, if given a chance?
NIce to meet you today. I am an enrollment advisor for Ashford University my number is 1-800-798-0584 x 3914
There is so much that our community needs to learn about meeting the needs of children with ADHD. As an educator, I talk with parents of children with ADHD often. There are accomodations that we can implement in school because we have access to the resources. We rarely provide parents with the resources that they need to set their child up for success. I am excited about this site and I look forward to educating more of my parents through the articles found here. Thank you. :)
