Kids grow at an astonishing pace and keeping them clothed in today's economy can be tight on the wallet. Twice a year in Eastern Iowa, there is a fabulous opportunity to get some great bargains on kid's clothes.
For seven and a half years, Mary Locher has been organizing a two times a year consignment sale focused on children's clothing, books, videos, toys, sporting equipment and anything else related to kids. The sales are held in the spring and fall of each year. With hundreds of consignors, the selection and sizes are varied.
While moms love the ability to purchase items for their kids at great prices, they also have an outlet for selling or consigning the clothes and items their children have outgrown. Some moms think of it as a swap. They get money for the items they consign and get first pick at buying new items at the sale. While some moms make money, many break even.
This year's sale will be held September 29th, 30th and October 1st at the Hawkeye Downs Expo South Building, 4400 6th St SW, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. For more details access www.weetailconsignmentsale.com and if you have children's clothing, toys, etc that you want to get rid of you can email Mary Locher at firstname.lastname@example.org for information about becoming a consignor.
