Children friendly RPGs

This will be a quick followup to a previous article (link below) I've written about RPGs and families. With Christmas and New Years weekends right around the corner, you may have a lot of time to try new things with your younger (or not so younger) family members - how about an RPG?

Johnathan over at the Core Mechanic blog posted today about a great list of children-friendly RPGs: RPGs for Kids. It's a really good list with descriptions and age recommendations. Not all are free but many are relatively cheap and easy to get as electronic PDF/eReader files. There are also links to other kid RPG sites and forum postings.

On behalf of my family (who I plan on playing a few games with over the holidays) and myself, I'd like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and/or Happy Hannukah! I will not be posting on Friday like normal, but I will come back next Monday with more RPG news - including some awesome news from the old school front!
