Childhood obesity

Help your child avoid being a victim of childhood obesity. Learn how to raise a healthy, happy, and fit child. According to the CDC, more than a third of America's children are overweight or obese. Although there are many campaigns to fight childhood obesity, we do not seem to be winning that war.

Childhood obesity is causing a number of life-threatening health conditions. It is also negatively affecting the emotional health of children. In fact, childhood obesity is a national epidemic and more effort is needed to end this crisis.

Society makes it easy to become obese. Restaurants and schools continue to serve unhealthy, fattening, and chemical laden foods. Social activities and holidays focus on food. Everywhere you look, there is food to eat and most of it is unhealthy.

Never-the-less, when children struggle with obesity issues, their parents are ultimately responsible. Parents are the ones bringing food into the house. Parents take their children to fast food restaurants. Parents allow their children to eat lunch at school instead of providing the lunch. Thus, the fight against childhood obesity can only be won when parents decide to take personal responsibility for their children.
