Childhood immunizations: A stance against

Childhood immunizations are becoming more and more of a hot topic amongst informed parents with their children’s best interests in mind.  For or against--both sides of the argument have their adamant advocates.  Marty Lane of Crandall, Texas is one such advocate against immunizations.

Marty Lane is no ill informed parent jumping on a hipster bandwagon to abolish some great ill with little or no true information on the topic.  Marty graduated from East Texas Baptist University with Bachelor of Science degrees in both Biology and Chemistry.  He then went on to Parker University to gain his Bachelor of Science in Anatomy.  Marty pursued his Medical Degree at UTHSCSA withdrawing only 5 months before completing the program to turn his focus towards his Doctor of Chiropractic from previously attended Parker University.  His views on immunizations are indeed well informed and worth being heard.  Marty granted this examiner a brief interview about his opinions and beliefs on this topic.

Q. In your opinion why do local parents choose to skip or elect to have immunizations for their children?

A. As to why parents are choosing to skip the shots, well, it’s because they are doing their research. The AMA has estimated that 40% of graduating pediatricians aren't giving vaccines. That sounds a bit high, but it gives an idea of what doctors think of vaccines.  There are ZERO required vaccines to enter school. There is a simple form that needs to be filled out if you choose to not vaccinate, that’s it. Please let parents know that it is illegal for a school to attempt to bully a person into vaccinating. With a simple google search, you can find the incidence of death from Measles, Mumps, or Rubella before the first MMR vaccine had ever been given, and it was already in the basement. The vaccine has little to nothing to do with the lack of MMR in our society. The rise of autism and other disorders is on the extreme rise in our country. Now then, there is certainly a difference in anecdotal and empirical evidence, but where there is smoke there is generally fire. These vaccines are absolutely not tested on humans, and indeed many are fast tracked (feel free to look that up) to get them out into the public.

The vaccine companies found that they could not make a large enough profit with the rate at which they were being sued, so they lobbied to be exempt from litigation, and won. You can no longer sue the manufacturer of a vaccine. Interesting?

Q. In your opinion, why do health agencies recommend children get certain shots?

A.. Why do health agencies recommend vaccines? Well, some of them certainly believe in their line of work. I certainly did early on in medical school. But the more research you read, the more classes you take, you start to see some crazy stuff.

Why does MERK have employees on the FDA? How does that make any sense? The people making the vaccines also make our vaccine schedules?

Why do infants need the Hep B vaccine? Chicken pox? etc. etc. etc. When I was a kid we got around 13 vaccines. Kids today are getting over 75 vaccines before they turn 3 years old. Neurologists (PhD's) have spent tons of time researching what the perservatives in vaccines do, and its scary; thiomersal, aluminum hydroxide, formaldahyde, all found in vaccines.

While this examiner is certain that there are plenty of naysayers with rebuttals to all arguments placed by Mr. Lane, one must admit that he raises some interesting questions, and doubts.  Why, indeed, are vaccine companies exempt from litigation? Why are the individuals making the vaccines entitled to then be on the boards regulating which vaccines should be taken?  Neigh of directly taking a stance against immunizations, this Examiner emplores you as parents to educate yourselves.  Learn your rights.  Research the chemicals and cocktails that ‘modern medicine’ is directing you to inject into the veins of your children—take a moment and think, think for yourself and make your own informed decision.
