Virginia fares a little better with the annual average costs hovering around $10,000. In comparison, national averages range from around $4000 to around $15,500.
Working from home can seem like a great way to save money for your family budget, but just because you work from home, it doesn’t mean that you don’t need childcare.
Some people manage to pull off working from home with kids, while for others it’s not possible. In reality, whether or not you need outside childcare depends on the type of job you have and your ability to multi-task.
Having a screaming toddler in the background might not go over too well if you are on a conference call, whereas if you work as an internet help desk operator, the screaming in the background won’t effect anyone’s perception of your professionalism…but it may effect your concentration.
