You will need:
- A large bowl
- Self-rising flour
First preheat your oven to 350. Poor flour into the bowl. I suggest to make the bowl half-full with flour. Next you need to make the flour fit the shape of the bowl. Pack it tightly.
Once you have your flour bowl ready pour in the milk slowly. I suggest starting with one or two cups of milk depending on the amount of biscuits you want to make. Then place the shortening in. One table spoon should suffice unless you are making a large amount. Use your hands to break up the shortening. Then slowly pull the flour down in a circular motion stir the flour in by hand.
It will slowly turn into dough. Once the consistency is correct the dough onto a bed of flour. Cut or roll the dough into individual biscuit-sized pieces the size you desire.
