Chihuly at Cheekwood opened to the public on Tuesday, May 25 at Cheekwood Botanical Garden & Museum. The stunning exhibit features hand-blown glass sculptures by Dale Chihuly and his team throughout the botanical garden, ponds, and within the Museum of Art and Frist Learning Center.
When you visit, be sure to check out Saffron Tower, Sun, and Mille Fiori (all pictured in the slideshow below). The sculptures are absolutely exquisite and look like they belong year-round. This is truly an experience you don’t want to miss.
Chihuly at Cheekwood is running until October 31, 2010. Every Thursday and Friday from 4:30pm – 10pm Cheekwood will host Chihuly Nights. Chihuly’s sculptures will be illuminated for a nighttime viewing. This Saturday, May 29, from 10am – 12pm is Chihuly Art! hosted in the studio where the processes behind Chihuly at Cheekwood will be explored.
