Their wide eyes and the terrified expressions show on their faces as two nine-week-old puppies try to hide under their cots at the noisy San Bernardino City Animal Control. Barely weaned from their mothers, these two sibling Chihuahuas have been at the shelter since August 30 and will be available for adoption on September 6.
The puppies have been named Cagney and Lacey, and everyone certainly agrees these little ones do not belong at an animal shelter. Please share their story with friends, relatives and coworkers. Click here to follow the Facebook thread as humane advocates and volunteers pledge funds for an approved rescue to help with the expenses of caring for the puppies until they find their new homes.
