Chief Dotson to address the Public Safety committee

Metropolitan Police Chief Sam Dotson is schedule to address the Public Safety committee on Thursday, January 16th regarding the Police Transitional committee hearing that has been taken place. The meeting starts at 1pm but there's other things on the agenda. The last Transitional committee had a large turnout and most attendees promoted a civilian review board.

Other things on the Agenda are: Alderwoman Phyllis Young has a proposal to allow the Director of Public Safety on behalf of Mayor Slay to enter into an agreement with the federal government for a JAG grant totaling over $500,000.00.
