Some Nashville Super Bowl sports traditions are old ones, some are new. Some have even been around and revised or changed, a time or two. But the eating of chicken wings during the Super Bowl in Nashville has long been more than just a simple tradition. As a matter of fact, some of the die-hard Super Bowl sports fans feel the eating of chicken wings during the Super Bowl is a necessity, and not just a tradition.
Now comes the news from the National Chicken Council advising we may be limited on our favorite Super Bowl snack as 'less chickens are being raised due to higher feed costs'. What is a Super Bowl fan to do when faced with such a predicament? Switch to hot dogs? No! Switch to burgers? No! All right then, what to do?
We're not sure yet, but perhaps we might do some spot checks of Nashville area restauranst and see what their plans are if they run short on chicken wings.
From GrabNetworks we have a video on 'Fewer Chicken Wings Available for Super Bowl' -
"The National Chicken Council says that because of less chickens being raised due to higher feed costs, there will be fewer chicken wings available for Super Bowl XLVII,"
