Chicken Parmesan sandwich New England style

Thanks to Quincy, MA based Alfredo Aiello Italian Foods and Concord, MA based Nashoba Brook Bakery, this chicken Parmesan sandwich is as easy to prepare as it is satisfying. Each product was found at Whole Foods Charles River Plaza.

INGREDIENTS:

1 package (1.5 lb.) Alfredo Aiello Italian Foods frozen Chicken Parmesan
1 loaf Nashoba Brook Bakery rosemary garlic bread

METHOD:

Prepare chicken Parmesan as directed. That can be either for 60 minutes in a 350 degree oven or 8 – 10 minutes in the microwave.

Toast the bread and cut the slices in half, as they are long.

Cut the chicken Parmesan into pieces that will fit on the bread. Use 2 of the half slices to make each sandwich.

Spread a bit of the sauce onto the bread slices, and then add the chicken Parmesan pieces to make the sandwiches.

This will make 8 small sandwiches. These will serve 4 – 8, depending on appetites.

NOTES:

One small sandwich is a quite satisfying for lunch or snack.

The chicken Parmesan will only take 45 minutes in the oven if thawed.
