Chicken lays giant egg: miracle chicken eggs found in China

A Chicken in China laid a giant egg. The “miracle” chicken eggs weight over half a pound, and when cracked open contained two yolks, and another egg, The Inquisitr reported on Mar. 19.

According to the report, people who live in the Chinese village were astounded by the chicken who lays giant eggs, and began calling the hen’s product “miracle” chicken eggs.

The occurrence of a double egg is extremely uncommon, but not impossible. Although rare, the miracle eggs could be formed due to the muscular action that forms the egg malfunction.

There are reportedly different kinds of double eggs. Consumers have found eggs that contain two yolks, and others that include and egg inside another egg.

While science would suggest a biological reason behind the “miracle” chicken eggs, the hen’s owner claims the chicken who lays the giant eggs food could be to blame.

The hen reportedly only eats a diet of rice, and turns her nose at corn feed. The owner claims that only since beginning to eat rice, the chicken has produced the huge eggs.
