You can actually save yourself some money with this dish! You know those, “Hot Pockets” you can buy at the grocery? Here is a recipe for you to make your own! This recipe is from a sweet family out of the mid-west.
Chicken Broccoli Hot Pocket
- 1 can chicken, (10 oz.)
- 1 box frozen chopped broccoli
- 1 can cream chicken soup
- Cream cheese, (4 oz.), room temperature
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tubes of crescent rolls
In a bowl add cream cheese, chicken, frozen broccoli and soup. Mix well.
Place 2 triangles on a foil lined cookie sheet and press together into a rectangle.
Spread chicken mixture on each rectangle, leaving ½ inch from the edges. Sprinkle with cheese and cover with 2 more crescents in the shape of a rectangle. Press edges together with a fork.
Continue until all crescent rolls are used.
Bake at 375* for 15-20 minutes.
