Here is a simple recipe for a sweet chicken salad that is perfect for spreading over a warm croissant!
Chicken and Apple Salad
- 2 cups cooked chicken, cubed or canned chicken, drained
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 apple, peeled, cored and chopped
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise, or more to taste
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Add all ingredients together into a bowl and mix well.
Spoon salad onto criossants, pitas, bagels or bread.
Tip: To make a chicken and grape salad, omit apples and add 1/2 to 3/4 cup of chopped grapes.
