Full Figured Fashion Week® in collaboration with 31:30 Model Workshops and a host of others, has launched an eleven city casting tour. The tour is intended to provide casting opportunities to experienced models in local and secondary markets all over the United States. It also serves as a great marketing strategy for the upcoming Full Figured Fashion Week®, slated for June 17-22, 2013 and sponsored by Lane Bryant.
In previous years, casting was only available to models in New York and it's surrounding areas. However, out of town models were able to submit audition tapes online and upon invitation, fly to NYC for a chance to audition in person. In 2011, I was one of those fortunate enough to make the cut. The opportunity and experience acquired is the very reason I saw fit to work with FFFWeek® and do what I could to spread the word about the Chicago casting. Other Chicagoans have also made their mark in association with FFFWeek®, namely Teslyn Butler (2009 Face of FFFWeek®) and Nikeya Young (2011 FFFWeek® Biggest Fan).
