Geja’s Café, 340 W. Armitage, is planning the most romantic Valentine’s Day celebration in its 49 year history. For eight consecutive days from Sunday, February 9th through Sunday, February 16th, the renowned “Restaurant of Romance” will be elegantly decorated and feature sparkling champagne, “Love Note Tuesday,” live flamenco and classical guitarists, photo keepsakes, and delicious sizzling hot fondue cuisine. Quince will offer a four course, Valentine's Day prix fixe dinner menu on February 14 from 5-10:30 p.m. Executive Chef Andy Motto's menu ($85) includes scallop, lamb, quail and chocolate dessert, while his vegetarian option ($75) includes a roasted carrot dish, tortellini, wild mushroom tart and chocolate dessert. 3. Nacional 27
Nacional 27 is the perfect place to dine, drink and dance with your Valentine. Chef Chico Vilchez has created a "Feliz dia de San Valentin" prix fixe menu, available on Friday, February 14 from 5-6:30 p.m. ($40 per guest) and from 7-10 p.m. ($75 per guest). The menu, outlined below, includes shared starting courses and tapas, choice of entree and dessert duo. The later seating includes a champagne toast. Following dinner service, DJ Konsept will spin lusty Latin beats 'til 2 a.m.
Valentine's Day celebrants may also choose to enjoy the special prix fixe menu on Thursday, February 13 from 5:30-9:30 p.m ($75 per guest). Pre- or post-meal, partake in complimentary salsa dance lessons at 7:30 p.m.

4. Cantina Laredo
Add a little spice to your Valentine's Day dinner date this year. Cantina Laredo in River North will offer a three course, Valentine's prix fixe menu ($35 per person) from February 13 to February 15. Chef Kennon Reed's selections, outlined below, include mango salad, roasted red pepper soup, sauteed shrimp with spicy mango mole, ancho chile-rubbed chicken, filet mignon, strawberry bunuelos and churros. Each course may be paired with a cocktail (Peach Berry Flaca Flip; Passion Fruit Margarita; and Heart Warmer) for an additional $15 per person.

5. The Fairmont Chicago
The Fairmont Chicago, Millennium Park, 200 North Columbus Drive, is turning up the heat for Valentine’s Day 2014, with an extravagant four-course dinner at aria restaurant including a delicious array of menu items specially prepared by the Executive Chef. 6. La Madia
Celebrate St. Valentine's Day with a date, or gather a group for a fun evening out at La Madia in River North. Chef Jonathan Fox's four course prix fixe menu, served family-style, will be offered on Friday, February 14 and Saturday, February 15. Chef Fox's menu (outlined below) features the choice of appetizer, seasonal salad, and Neapolitan-inspired pizza, as well as a flute of prosecco to start and housemade chocolate truffles to finish.

7. Kit Kat Lounge and Supper Club
Kit Kat Lounge and Supper Club will have you feelin’ the love this Valentine’s Day weekend. From Friday, February 14 to Sunday, February 16, dining guests may enjoy chef JoAnn Witherell’s Valentine’s specials (fried oysters; lamb loin chops; seared scallops; and more), in addition to Kit Kat’s regular dinner menu. Diva Kinley Preston will entertain guests starting at 7:30 p.m. each evening, and Kit Kat’s mixologists will shake up Valentine’s themed martinis during the entire month of February ($13.50 each, half priced Sunday-Thursday).

8. III Forks Prime Steakhouse
III Forks Prime Steakhouse will welcome Valentine’s Day dining guests with a special "Sweetheart Menu" for two. Available on Friday, February 14, Executive Chef Billy Caruso will offer a three course menu that includes: III Forks Salad; Broiled Tenderloin with fig balsamic demi-glace, truffled yukon gold mashed potatoes and fresh asparagus; and Chocolate Lovers’ decadent dessert ($145 per couple). Each guest will receive an individual salad and steak entree; the dessert will be shared.
The Lakeshore East-located prime steakhouse will feature three sparkling wine selections by the glass or bottle (Chandon Brut Classic; Chandon Sparkling Rose; Etoile Brut), hand-chosen for the romantic holiday. III Forks' extensive wine list and seasonal cocktail menu will also be available.
III Forks will also offer an a la carte menu on Valentine's Day. Choices include "Beginnings" (ahi tuna' shrimp cocktail; seafood medley; wedge salad; lobster bisque), "Beef Market" (filet mignon, USDA Prime bone in and boneless ribeye; rack of lamb), "Fish Market" (cold water rock lobster tail; Atlantic salmon; Chilean seabass), and sides (sauteed spinach; roasted mushrooms; off-the-cob cream corn; lobster mac & cheese; and more).

9. City Tavern
City Tavern, a perfectly cozy spot for a romantic night out, will offer Valentine’s Day diners the regular dinner menu as well as savory specials. Chef Amanda Barnes has created four dishes, available February 14-16, that include: Seafood Cocktail; Grilled Maine Lobster; Cowboy Ribeye for Two; and Crab Spaghettini. 10. The Chicago Firehouse
The Chicago Firehouse will celebrate the Valentine’s Day holiday with a three course prix fixe menu, available February 14 to February 16. Chef Dean Zanella's set menu includes choice of starter, entree and dessert for $59 per guest.
