Chicago Trolley and Double Decker Company travels countless miles and 20 years

Chicago Trolley and Double Decker Company celebrates 20 years of taking locals and tourists around Chicago via its Hop-On/Hop-Off city sightseeing tour.

“For 20 years, it has been both our privilege and our pleasure to guide visitors and Chicagoans through one of the best cities in the world,” says president of Chicago Trolley Co. Jim Schwartz. “It is our mission to offer our passengers the ultimate experience each and every time they board a Chicago Trolley and Double Decker vehicle and we will continue to do so for the next 20 years and more.”

In honor of its 20 years of service, the company offers more than 20 deals via a coupon book including free samples and discounts at partner venues (from Garrett’s Popcorn in Downtown to Candyality in Lakeview) with the purchase of a sightseeing tour ticket.
 



From 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., the Signature Hop-On, Hop-Off Sightseeing Tour travels 13 miles and stops at Skydeck Chicago, the Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, Adler Planetarium, the Chicago Theater, Millennium Park, Water Tower Place, the Art Institute, Navy Pier and the John Hancock Observatory.

During the months of May through September, the City Lights Night Tour showcases the John Hancock Building, Millennium Park, Navy Pier and the Magnificent Mile from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. (final boarding time is 10 p.m.).

The company also offers Neighborhood Tours of the north side with stops at Wrigley Field and Lincoln Park Zoo; the south side with stops at the Museum of Science and Industry and Hyde Par; and the west side which includes Chinatown, Greektown and Little Italy.


Tours operate daily with vehicles departing the designated stops every 10-15 minutes. Ticket prices vary depending on tour. Groups of 15 or more receive a 20% discount when they call 73-648-5000. For additional information, visit www.chicagotrolley.com.
