The Chicago Department of Family and Support Services (DFSS) will be hosting their annual Senior Fest in Millennium Park, Michigan Avenue at Washington Street on Thursday, September 12, 2013, from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Senior Fest is a one day event that is free and open to all Chicago residents age 60 and better.
Senior Fest features for the day will include: a live performance of Serendipity, picnic lunch, flu shots, health screenings, senior resource fair, game and art area, dancing, live music, raffle prizes and bingo.
Family or friends that are dropping off a senior to enjoy the day are requested to proceed to the north entrance of the park on Randolph Street between Michigan and Columbus. The rain date has been set for the next day, Friday, September 13, 2013, at the same time.
