The city's longest tenured New Year’s Eve party will once again be held at the historic Drake Hotel on 140 E Walton Place, however to accommodate growing crowds, a concurrent party will be held at the Hilton Chicago on 720 S. Michigan Avenue.

“The Drake Hotel New Year's Eve party is now in its 14th consecutive year and was recently rated by ABC News as the #1 party in Chicago and #8 overall in the United States,” Chicago Scene Partner Ken Monro states. “The New Year's Eve party at the Hilton Chicago occupies one of the most historic and prestigious grand ballrooms in the entire country, having housed every U.S. president since its creation in 1927.

“Both parties are comprised of successful young professionals that make up a beautiful crowd in a beautiful setting are really quite a sight to see once it's in full gear with the city's top DJs and more than 60 all premium liquor bars to keep the lines short and the party fun,” adds Monro.

“We have also partnered with several charities in Chicago including the Anti-Cruelty Society, Chicago Cares, the Lynn Sage Foundation and Make-A-Wish and will be donating a percentage of proceeds from both events,” Ken Monro, Chicago Scene partner.
