Bloggers are taking the fashion industry by storm!  Fashion blogs are a unique way to see what people around the globe are wearing and how they are wearing the latest trends.  It can definitely help draw inspiration to liven up your wardrobe.  Ever been stumped as to how put an outfit together that looks just as fashion forward as that cute slender friend of yours?  Try checking out some of the Chicagoland's curvy fashion bloggers!  Get ideas on where to shop locally, as well as internationally and online.

Gabi of Young, Fat and Fabulous just recently moved to Chicago.  Gabi is probably the most notorious plus size fashion blogger on the scene right now.  Her name is recognized amongst fashion bloggers, both big and small, everywhere.  She is currently juggling between her YFF site and as a curvy blogger for  Vogue Italia.

Tiffany of Fat Shopaholic, who's style has been described by her friends as "homeless chic", dishes on her blog about places to shop, blogger interviews, outfits of the day (otherwise referred to as OOTD's) and interviews with plus size fashion designers.  Tiffany is currently covering the Dangerous Curves Ahead Fashion Show for PLUS Model Magazine as well as covering multiple stories for Manik mag.

Sabrina gives you the scoop on bargainista finds on her blog Defying My Closet.  Sabrina showcases her outfits, shares shopping adventures as well as beauty and fashion bargains.

Marianna gives insight to her to her "polished and crisp" look at Absolutely Apple.  On her most recent post, she takes you through her quest to find the perfect fitting bra at a local lingerie store.  Marianna also shares pictures of her outfits and how she put them together.

Checkout ChiTown Fashionista for your go-to info on fashionable thing happening in Chicagoland.  You can look forward to giveaways, product reviews and places to shop.

Curvatude-Living Curvy and Plus Size is another fatshion blog to add to your bookmark.  Goody serves up places to shop, events in Chicago, her personal wish list and hosts giveaways.  She is prompt with answering and responding to reader comments whether they are posted on her blog or through tweets on twitter.

The Voluptua Project offers a safe place for size acceptance.  Voluptua caters to curvy women while uplifting and promoting healthy living.  They also provide information and resources that are plus size friendly   They have just launched their Phatshionista Segment of the blog where readers can submit their fashionable outfits to compete for a monthly prize ($25 giftcard or certificate).

Julie aka Jules over at Boom Boom Pow is determined to make sure curvy women celebrate their bodies.  She expresses her love for fashion by taking high end designer looks and making them work for her.  Some of her more popular posts show the actual piece of clothing, on what is usually a rail thin model, and she shows readers how she incorporates that same piece into her wardrobe.

There are tons of curvy fashion blogs out there, each one giving a different perspective on fashion. It shouldn't be too hard to draw inspiration to jazz up a boring closet.  Don't be afraid to try looks from regular straight size blogs as well.  Developing your personal style may take some time, but in fashion don't be afraid to take risks.  Be comfortable, be you or pretend to get dress in your favorite celebrities closet for a day, but most of all, have fun with fashion!
