Chicago q announces new additions to its retail line of rubs, sauces and pickles available for purchase at the restaurant and online and the products can be shipped anywhere in the continental United States.
New products include q Rub ($10), a salt and pepper based rub with fresh herbs, South Carolina Mustard Sauce ($8), a tangy and sweet sauce with a little heat, and Eastern North Carolina Vineyard Barbeque ($8), a classic Southern vinegar sauce with a kick, and q Chips ($6), and Apple Wood smoking chips.
Other products available include Chef / Partner Lee Ann Whippen’s Bread and Butter Pickles ($8), the Original Mild ($7), a tomato-based sauce that is both rich and sweet; the Spicy ($7) sauce is a tomato-based Virginia state champion sauce that is bold in flavor with light spice; and the Pig Powder ($10). The Gold Award winner in The 2010 Great American BBQ Competition, Pig Powder Dry Rub has 13 different spices that create a dry rub that is sweet with a little kick that can be used on pork, beef, chicken and ribs.
Gift Cards are also available for sale online in $20, $50 and $100 increments.
