A Ford Heights man that bought an alligator to attract ladies nearly landed himself in jail after providing improper pet health by confining the animal in a small space and housing a dangerous animal.
DeWayne Yarbrough, of the 800 block of East 11th Place was accused of alleged animal cruelty, according to NBC Chicago.
In an attempt to keep the alligator's size "small", Yarbrough "chose to house the animal in a small fish tank and only fed it a meal of 10 live mice once a month."
