Chicago ghost hunter David Scott will screen his first film as part of a ghost and horror-lovers’ dream evening Friday, March 8th, at Chicago’s Portage Theater, 4050 North Milwaukee Avenue, beginning at 6:30pm.
Scott, who Chicago ghost hunters will recognize as a member of the Illinois Paranormal Research Association (IPRA) and one of the stars of the internet television series “Believe,” will present his film, a short entitled "Ghost Cold Water," as part of a bill including a triple feature of the “Basket Case” films (1,2 & 3), which will be introduced by their director, Frank Hehenlotter, who will be on hand to meet fans and answer questions.
Other special guests will include Chicago medium Chris Fleming, known for his work on Ghost Adventures, Psychic Kids and Dead Famous, and a number of Chicago paranormal researchers have also RSVPd, including Dr. Chuck Kennedy, innovative researcher and founder of the Ghosts of Illinois (www.ghostsofillinois.com), and author and ghost hunter Ursula Bielski, author of the Chicago Haunts book series and operator of Chicago Hauntings Tours (www.chicagohauntings.com.
