Tonight on a new episode of "Chicago Fire" fans were shocked to see Matt Casey go down in the previews for the fall finale. In this clip, Casey gets hurt in a fire and ends up at the hospital. On Dec. 3, Daily Telegraph shared an interview with Jesse Spencer, who plays Casey, and it doesn't sound like he is going anywhere.

Jesse just came off of the show "House" that aired eight seasons. He knew that it would be hard to find another show that successful but it looks like he has done it again. This show is going so well that a spin-off called "Chicago PD" will start airing in January.

He admits that he had wanted to do something more physical for a while. This role lets him kick in doors. Jesse has to stay in shape for the role. He says that he has gotten really lucky twice in a role. Spencer went on to share that the cast is really close outside of the show as well.

It doesn't look like Matt Casey will be leaving the show anytime soon. They do kill people off sometimes but fans would be really upset if he died as soon as he finally started dating Dawson, plus Jesse Spencer is obviously happy with his job and not asking to go anywhere. Fans will find out next week on the fall finale.

"Chicago Fire" airs new episodes on Tuesday nights. Please like my Facebook for the latest in entertainment news.

Update: Check out what Jesse Spencer tweeted! Does Casey live?
