The NBC show "Chicago Fire" is getting ready to return back to Wednesday nights after a couple weeks of a break. The show left fans hanging with what would happen to Shay (Lauren German) after a truck collides with the ambulance she was in with Dawson (Monica Raymund).
The new episode 1.11 "God has Spoken" starts off with the crash scene where the last episode ended. Dawson is a little bloody but is not seriously injured. She is worried about Shay, who does have serious injuries.
Severide (Taylor Kinney) is feeling extremely guilty because his last talk with Shay was a huge fight that caused her to move out of the apartment.
Casey (Jesse Spencer) visitis his mother in jail and a lot of his family past is explained. Casey's mom wants him to try to convince his sister to help her but he isn't convinced that this is the best idea.
Cruz (Joe Minoso) is still dealing with his guilt and is in desperate need to talk to someone. The person he ends up confiding in has a reaction that is not expected.
The last episode left fans hanging so the suspense is high waiting for the next episode. Be sure to tune into NBC on Jan. 2 to find out what will happen on "Chicago Fire."
