Chicago Film Critics Honor '12 Years a Slave' with Five Awards

The Chicago Film Critics Association has added their voice to the chorus of groups praising Steve McQueen's "12 Years a Slave," giving the film top honors at their awards this evening. It also received Best Director (McQueen), Best Actor (Chiwetel Ejiofor), Best Supporting Actress (Lupita Nyong'o), and Best Adapted Screenplay (John Ridley).

Meanwhile, "Gravity" continues doing very well in the technical categories, taking Best Cinematography, Best Editing, and Best Art Direction/Production Design.
