Chicago families can purchase a key card from Jewish Child and Family Services that entitles shoppers to a 20% discount on merchandise bought at almost 200 participating stores and restaurants around Chicagoland. Great for back-to-school savings on children's clothing, shoes, and toys, this program runs from Saturday, August 13 to Saturday, August 20 this 2011.
About 2011 Key Card Shopping Spree
Each year JCFS runs this program to raise money to fund its programs that help local children and families from all religions and backgrounds. The JCFS receives no money from the purchases participating shoppers make at the stores. Some restrictions apply. For example, sales are final, sale items will not be discounted, and cards cannot be shared, transferred, or refunded.
To buy a Key Card for a $75 donation to the North Shore Auxiliary, people can:
- purchase a card in person beginning Thursday, August 11 at stores marked with an asterisk on the program brochure.
- call the Key Card Hotline at 312-357-4610 to request one through the mail.
- purchase a card online at the program website (for an additional $5 fee).
Cards purchased by mail or online will ship on Saturday, August 6.
Visit the North Shore Auxiliary Key Cards page to learn more about this annual program, to purchase a card, and to download a 2011 Key Card Shopping Spree brochure for a complete listing of participating Chicagoland stores.
