Fat Jack Double Pumpkin Ale (12oz, 8.5% ABV) will be $7 and Jack-O-Traveler Pumpkin Shandy (16oz, 4.4% ABV) will be $5 through October 26.

Public House’s annual Barley’s Angels event is a beer tasting that celebrates Oktoberfest and raises awareness for (and benefits) Breast Cancer Awareness. Public House has partnered with Lolly’s Locks, a charity that connects high-quality wigs with cancer patients who are suffering hair loss as an effect of chemotherapy and who would otherwise be unable to afford them. A return of our ever popular Pumpkin Ale will be a Charity tapping in aid of the American Cancer Society. There will be a number of fund raising events. Imperial Black Pumpkin Ale, spiced with curry powder, will be available at the tapping, in very limited quantities. All proceeds will be going to the American Cancer Sociey.

The Bar on Buena hosts an Arcadia Ales Appreciation Night to celebrate the brewery as October's Brewery of the Month! Out of Battle Creek, MI, Arcadia Ales produces beers in small batches and practices methods originated in England, allowing its style of beer to reflect over 250 years of world class brewing heritage.
The exact line-up is still to come definitely expect a tapping of a special pin (small, gravity pour firkin) of Arcadia's Loch Down Scotch Ale, the brewery's tribute to the Scottish Highlands. Two other beers will also be tapped and bottles of Shipwreck Oak Aged Porter, the Baltic-style porter aged in Kentucky bourbon oak barrels, will be for sale. Prices will range from $5-$15.
Reps from the brewery and distributor will be on hand spreading the love with some complimentary pint glasses and some other swag hand outs. To continue the appreciation, Arcadia beers will be $1 off on Tuesdays all month long at The Bar on Buena.
