Michael Jackson is considered by most, the Father of Craft Beer. He began his career as a young journalist in Yorkshire, before he was legally allowed to touch a drop, but through a series of articles, books and television programs, he soon became The Beer Hunter.
Michael was a successful author of both beer and whiskey/scotch books, he invented the idea of beer styles, and was loved by all that were lucky enough to share a beverage with. Unfortunately for all of us, he passed away too early from a heart attack in August of 2007, after fighting Parkinson's for a number of years. He will obviously be missed by his friends and family, as well as the millions of people that looked up to him across the globe.
