FRIDAY: Sauce and Bread Kitchen Nacho Champs are back! They'll have a slew of world-famous Co-op Sauce's to slather at the reigning champion carnitas nacho bar. We're tapping our newest beer, Escape Artist IPA at 4 pm. This refreshing American IPA is dry-hopped with 4 piney, grapefruity hops at a rate of over 2 lbs per barrel.
SATURDAY: Cooked is bring pulled pork & rajas/potato tacos into the Tap Room, and DJ Teebot is back with us to take the weekend to its climax. Booties shall shake.
SUNDAY: Recover in the morning, then come back from noon - 6 and grab another pint or two of Escape Artist.

Last year we released Navaja Double India Pale Ale a few times on draft as it was pulled and pushed into hesitant submission. The final product was bottled and devoured, leaving nothing in its wake but the fuzzy memory of questionable decisions. Dry and rancorous, this year's batch was bittered with Centennial and Columbus before additions of Mosaic, Citra, and Simcoe. 9.5% ABV and available in 22 ounce bottles, cold as the steel it's forged with.

The Chicago Craft Beer Festival is a benefit for the Sheffield Neighborhood Association, and will feature two tasting session, both 12 to 4pm, Saturday and Sunday on Sheffield between Webster and Fullerton.
Celebrating its third year in 2014, Chicago Craft Beer Festival has grown in wild popularity to become the Windy City's hottest specialty beer gathering. This event draws an eclectic mix of upscale visitors including, of course, lovers of microbrews.
Highlights include tented tasting areas where visitors can (for a tasting fee) sample from more than 100 craft beers. Among the scores of showcased brews are those from Chicago's Revolution and Half Acre breweries, Wisconsin's Hinterland, Michigan's Arcadia Ales and Founders Brewing, and Two Brothers in Illinois (to name just a few). There also will be music acts performing both inside and outside the tented areas.
This year's fest is moving a few blocks north from its old location to new and expanded digs in the heart of DePaul/Lincoln Park. It's also scheduled to be held on the same weekend and in tandem in the same neighborhood as the iconic annual Sheffield Garden Walk.
Tickets are $40 plus fees through Eventbrite. Tickets include a tasting glass and 15 samples

1:00 - 6:00 pm ♦ 2014 Naperville Ale Fest
Naper Settlement, downtown Naperville, IL
The second annual Naperville Ale Fest will showcase over 200 unique beers from 125 craft breweries around the country. The fest will also feature live music and food from some of Naperville’s favorite restaurants. Situated on the grounds of the Naper Settlement, with downtown Naperville as a backdrop, it is the ideal setting to experience craft beer. A portion of the proceeds from the Naperville Ale Fest will benefit the Naper Settlement and the Naperville Heritage Society.
Tickets are $45 for General Admission, which includes 15 drink tickets (with the option to buy more), and are available through the festival website. Designated Driver tickets are available too. VIP tickets are sold out.
The Naperville Ale Fest is a Lou Dog Events Production.

It's the U.S. bottle release of Grapefruit Dead, a collaboration between 18th Street and Mikkeller. This double IPA is made with Amarillo hops, grapefruit juice and grapefruit zest. A limited bottle release at $15 apiece.
