Chicago company hosts free webinars in February (Video)

Chicago provides several special and educational events, none more affordable or convenient to attend than webinars hosted by Providential Bancorp at www.providential.com on Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm (CST) for up to 200 participants per session.

Since 1999, the local online business has been connecting borrowers with lenders, and now, via its webinars which began last year, offers tips on home refinancing as well as ways to improve credit scores.

“I have been conducting free live seminars on credit repair since 1999,” states Tim Padavic, the company's Director of Business Development. “I have helped over 1500 clients refinance out of chapter 13 bankruptcy while repairing credit and giving them a fresh start. My knowledge of the loan process is extensive and my philosophy of customer first, has always worked, and I have been able to help thousands in the dream of home ownership.

“We post the schedule of free webinars on our website, www.providential.com. People click on the webinars tab, scroll to the webinar and topic that fits their schedule, fill out basic questions like name, phone number, email, and click register. It's that simple. They are absolutely free to attend and we market through email, social media, newsletters, customer service hotline, and word of mouth.

“In the next six weeks we are planning five webinars. As the webinars fill up, we will add more to accommodate the demand. We plan on delivering at least 100 informative webinars in 2013.”

Providential Purchase Central: Connecting Borrowers with Realtors is the topic of the February 7 seminar which teaches attendees how to close more transactions by getting qualified buyers; how to close deals within 30 days; how customers may be eligible for cash-back incentives; and more.

On February 14 and February 28, webinar participants can sign up for Clean Credit 101: How to Repair your Credit and Keep it Current. The session instructs attendees how to determine what’s hurting their credit score and offers ways to minimize the damage by adding positive information to one’s credit history as well as providing tips on how to fight identity theft.

On February 21, the Mortgages 101: Intro to Financing and Refinancing a Home webinar defines a 30-year-fixed loan, 15-year-fixed, and covers the qualifications needed to obtain HOA and VA mortgage loans.

“We cover more advanced mortgage 101 webinars that go into more depth into our different loan types, generally when customers know which one they are going with and they just want more information,” adds Padavic. “As more questions are asked in our beginning webinar that usually will spur additional topic-focus webinars that we will put on the schedule.”

Feedback and interaction from webinars attendees is encouraged. As Padavic explains, “On the webinar interface, attendees have a chance to raise their virtual hand so the instructor sees they have a question. Either the attendee can type in their question in the chat feature or the instructor can unmute them so they can ask the question live. Whether you are ready, just looking, or just have questions, we will help you get closer to that sound decision you are looking for.”
