Out of Line Art Studio, the gallery that did the unique “Mad Hatter Tea Party” show this fall, is mounting “Chicago, City on the Make” Dec. 14, 2013 through Feb. 15, 2014.

It zooms in on Chicago through the artistic impressions of photographers Jordan Cramer and Karina Wang, artist/architectural historian Augustus Higginson and painter Kitty Rainbow.

The show opens Dec. 14, 6:30-9:30 p.m. with filmed spots on Chicago personalities Studs Turkel, Bill Veeck and Vito Marzullo captured by documentary maker Tom Weinberg.

In addition, authors who have written about Chicago politics and history have been invited to exchange thoughts about the City on opening night.

Show related programs coming up, such as a play production of “Busted City” in January, will be listed on the gallery’s website.
