Chicago Bears 2014 schedule information has come out. Late Sunday (Dec. 29) the opponents on the 2014 Chicago Bears schedule were revealed. According to a report from The Chicago Tribune, there are some pretty tough match-ups in the coming season. Finishing second place in the NFC North comes with the downside of playing other second place teams like the San Francisco 49ers.
In addition to the six games against the other NFC North teams, the Bears will also be playing four games against the AFC East. They are split up with two at home and two on the road, but the road games could be viewed as pretty tough places to play.
The away games will be against the Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, San Francisco 49ers, New England Patriots, and New York Jets. Having to go out on the road against the Panthers, 49ers, and Patriots is a pretty tough undertaking for any franchise.
As for the home games, they will be played against the New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dallas Cowboys, Buffalo Bills, and Miami Dolphins (in addition to the three NFC North teams). Not having to go to New Orleans or Dallas is a good thing and getting to take on Drew Brees at Soldier Field beats the alternative of going to Louisiana.
The dates and times of the 2014 Chicago Bears schedule will be revealed a bit later, but fans can enjoy dissecting what the team will be up against already.
