Wisconsin runners seeking a rugged terrain challenge may trek north on September 28 for the Cheyenne Creek Fall Trail Run. Three coursed races are offered: a 5K, a 10K, and a half marathon. Runners may expect to face plenty of hills, mud, water, and wet turf.
This event takes place at Cheyenne Creek Camp, E14051 Highway 33, in Hillsboro, Wisconsin. Campsites may be available by advance reservation.
The technically challenging trail race starts are staggered.
- Half marathon – 8 a.m.
- 10K – 8:30 a.m.
- 5K – 9 a.m.
On-site race packet pickup is runs from 7 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. at the Vernon County venue.
Cheyenne Creek Fall Run Registration Fees are as follows:
- $55 – half marathon
- $45 – 10K
- $35 – 5K
Half marathon runners must complete the course by noon. Participants in the 5K and 10 K events will be expected to finish by 11 a.m.
