Looking a little more chunky and robust, General Motors hopes that the 2013 Chevrolet Malibu will not only continue the nameplate's successes in the United States but also juice the brand's aspirational appeal in markets like China.
In addition to the full frontal treatment that we see in the picture located to the left, Chevrolet has also shared another unique detail of the 2013 Malibu: A hidden, illuminated storage compartment behind the radio's face. While not a groundbreaking feature, the radio's trick sets apart the Malibu in the all important interior arms race that has broken out amongst mainstream competitors.
The live reveal will be featured on Chevrolet's Facebook page under the Malibu tab. Look for the action to start on Tuesday April 18, at 8:30 p.m. EDT and at the Shanghai Auto Show on April 19.
