Sunny but chilly on Friday with a high in the low to mid 50s. Mostly clear and cold Friday night with a low in the mid to upper 30s. Clouds and sun on Saturday with a high in the low to mid 50s. Looking ahead, Sunday will feature clouds and sun with lows in the upper 30s and highs in the upper 50s.
Temperatures this morning ranged from the upper 30s to lower 40s. High pressure will continue to build over the bay region today with gusty northwest winds and afternoon highs only in the mid 50s. As winds diminish overnight, ideal radiational cooling conditions will enable the mercury to dip into the mid to upper 30s, except around 40 right along the bay shore where water temperatures are still mild. Friday and Saturday will be sunny, but quite cool for this time of year with highs only in the low to mid 50s and overnight lows in the 30s. Areas inland may drop to near freezing, or slightly below freezing, on both days; however, locations along the bay will remain above freezing through the weekend. The National Weather Service continues its Freeze Watch for areas to the north and west of Baltimore and Washington, effective late Thursday into early Friday morning.

Winds today will come out of the west/northwest at 10 to 15 to with gusts over 25 and waves from 1 to 3 feet. Winds tonight will come out of the west/northwest at 10 to 15 with gusts over 20 and waves from 1 to 3 feet. Winds on Friday will come out of the west/northwest at 10 to 15 with gusts over 20 and waves from 1 to 3 feet.
