Brian's exclusive forecast for Annapolis: Mostly clear and comfortable overnight with a low in the mid 50s. More clouds than sun on Monday with a high in the mid 70s. On Monday night, we can expect a clear sky with lows in the mid to upper 50s. Mostly sunny and mild on Tuesday with a high in the mid to upper 70s. The extended outlook calls for a warming trend later in the week with highs climbing into the lower 80s on Thursday and Friday along with a slight increase in humidity.
A broad area of high pressure will provide mostly sunny and pleasant weather for the Middle Atlantic region through the middle of the week. A weak cold front will approach the area from the west, but the front will have little impact on the area other than a few clouds. As the ridge of high pressure moves to our east later in the week, a more southerly flow around the high will bring an increase in both temperatures and humidity. Consequently, on Thursday and Friday we will experience highs in the lower 80s with overnight lows only dropping into the lower 60s. The warm, humid weather will be short-lived as another front is expected to bring showers and cooler temperatures by next weekend.
