Mostly cloudy overnight with a low in the mid 40s and a light southeast wind. Clouds and sunshine on Wednesday giving way to a mostly cloudy afternoon. The high will be in the mid 60s. Cloudy with scattered rain showers Wednesday night with a low in the low 50s. Mostly cloudy with rain showers on Thursday and a high in the mid to upper 60s. Looking ahead, a clearing sky with cooler temperatures is expected on Friday and Saturday with lows in the upper 30s to lower 40s and highs in the 50s. Sunday will feature a mostly sunny sky with a low around 40 and a high in the mid 60s.
Temperatures this morning are running about ten degrees warmer compared to this time yesterday. Winds today will shift around to the southeast as high pressure moves offshore. The southerly flow of air, along with a cold front approaching from the west, will combine to produce mostly cloudy conditions on Wednesday and Thursday, although periods of sunshine cannot be ruled out for early Wednesday. Showers will overspread the region on Thursday as the front moves closer to the bay. In the wake of the front, clearing and cooler weather returns on Friday and Saturday with highs only in the low to mid 50s. The cool snap will be short-lived as temperatures rebound into the 60s on Sunday.
