Brian's exclusive forecast for Annapolis: Chilly this morning with temperatures in the mid 40s to near 50, then mostly sunny and milder this afternoon with a high in the lower 70s. Mostly clear, but not as cool tonight with a low in the lower 50s. Sunshine and fair-weather clouds on Thursday with a high in the mid to upper 70s. Looking ahead, expect sunshine and clouds on Friday but warmer with a high in the lower 80s. A mixture of clouds and sunshine on Saturday with scattered rain showers or thundershowers and a high in the lower 80s.
The coolest morning of the summer was experienced this morning around the bay region as many locations dipped into the mid 40s, with a few spots dropping into the upper 30s! Under high pressure and a bright, sunny sky, temperatures will rebound today and top out in the lower 70s. The high will move offshore as we move into Thursday, and the return flow around the high will allow for warmer air to move northward across the bay area. Sunshine will be the main weather feature on Thursday and Friday, except for a few fair-weather clouds, and the mercury will reach the upper 70s on Thursday and the lower 80s on Friday.
On the Maryland portion of Chesapeake Bay, there are no current advisories. Winds today will come out of the south at less than 10 knots with waves one foot or less. Winds tonight will come out of the south at less than 10 knots with waves less than one foot. Winds on Thursday will come out of the south at less than 10 knots with waves less than one foot.
