Cher originally premiered her pulsating club track, "Woman's World," back in November but the song was finally released to iTunes in June. The 67-year-old singer proved that she could still dole out an empowering dance track like the ladies currently dominating the charts.
The music video for "Woman's World" is a ladies-only affair. Cher gives new meaning to Chaka Khan's "I'm Every Woman" when literally women of all backgrounds emerge from her to dance, whether they be curve-y, older or have Down Syndrome. "This is woman's world / Tell the truth!" she declares in the inclusive clip. Her wigs are on-point too. Before Lady Gaga and Madonna, Cher was the one created headlines with her outrageous fashion sense. "Woman's World" serves as a reminder of that with its many big wigs, including one made out of newspaper scraps. Six decades in the music game and Cher shows no signs of slowing down in this video.
"Woman's World" is the lead single from Cher's new album, "Closer to the Truth," which drops on September 24.
