Cher is indisputably one of the most distinct voices that has ever been. While Barbra might be the queen, Cher is certainly second in line to the throne. The bodacious sexagenarian is set to drop a new album soon and the buzz is, it’s great! The megastar herself described it as, “Lots of dance, but none [are] SAME KIND OF DANCE ! Have Big ass Choruses, Some HEART RIPPERS!”. Cher’s newest will debut in March, according to Music Mix yesterday. The “Mermaids” star never ceases to amaze and astound, thankfully, and this new CD surely won’t disappoint.
Cher’s last release, “Living Proof”, shot into the top 10 back in 2001, and went on to sell more than a million copies worldwide. Who can forget when they first heard those lyrics, “Do You Believe in Life After Love”?
Previously, Cher said that the album would include two songs written by Pink, and a duet with Lady Gaga, according to K-Earth 101. Collective fingers crossed, click here to listen to the first single “Woman’s World” that just came out.
The diva’s even getting raves from Perez Hilton, who says she’s “hot to trot”. “The pop icon isn't set to release her new music until early March, but that doesn't mean we can't start thinking about what a wonderful world our life shall be when that day finally comes upon us!”, he says.
We can’t wait until the music hits! Movie time?
