According to an article posted Oct. 2 at Billboard.com, the ageless diva's 26th studio album has debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 album chart, surpassing her previous best chart performances, 1999's "Believe" and 2003's "Very Best of Cher," which both peaked at No 4.
Aided by a number of promotional TV appearances on NBC's "Today" show, "The Late Show With David Letterman," and "Live! with Kelly & Michael" and the recent announcement of a 49-city North American tour, the Goddess of Pop's latest effort moved 63,000 copies in its first week.
Cher's Dressed to Kill Tour kicks off March 22 in Phoenix, Ariz. at US Airways Center and wraps up July 11 in San Diego, Calif. at Valley View Casino Center.
